Is it really only Wednesday?....well technically it is Thursday, although the business that is Thursday has not yet begun.
Patience-most definitely the word of the day for Tuesday. An hour wait for a TB Test followed by an hour and 45 minute wait for a parking decal...enough said.
Perseverance-Curriculum began today. A whole semesters worth of assignments dumped in the laps of students unaware of just how daunting these tasks will truly be. Thank goodness for my wonderful curriculum partner Kylie! Best of friends since freshman year and about to tackle probably the most challenging project of our academic careers to date!
Colossians 1:1:17 comes to mind..."He is before ALL things and in Him ALL things hold together." He has a plan and He will provide everything I need. :)
I finally picked up the devotional by Dr. Jones. Tears filled my eyes as I read the first several pages while waiting in line at the bookstore on campus. I'm sure looks were shot in my direction but I could not help but imagine the pain she went through as she revealed details of a childhood filled with fear and brokenness. She truly is a beautiful picture of perseverance.
Tomorrow, another day. A day I am so thankful for, ups and downs, smiles and tears....every day is a blessing.
And so it begins...
Ecclesiastes 3:1
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven..."

Senior Year...already?
Just yesterday I feel like I was sitting in my very first dorm room terrified that college would be the WORST experience of my life. Little did I know what the Lord had in store for me. :)
My last first day of school was as hectic as to be expected. With new classes, new professors, and all the excitement of seeing friends, needless to say it was an eventful day.
Despite the level of exhaustion, what a blessing it is to attend Liberty. Never in my life did I imagine the support, dedication, and true interest in even the minor details of my life that I receive from the faculty at LU. Seeing old professors and meeting new ones really is a blessing.
And at the end of the day, getting a fantastic dinner with my wonderful boyfriend was the perfect way to end the day. :)
All in all it was a great day and i very much look forward to senior year!
And so it begins...:)
